We're now in Christchurch.....
Kent Deverson has been a FETS training instructor based in Taranaki for the past three years and has recently moved back ‘home’ to Canterbury bringing his family with him. He is now establishing a FETS training base in the greater Canterbury district.
With a background as a volunteer in the NZ Fire Service for six years, twelve years teaching in agriculture and health and safety, and has also worked in the oil and gas field as a safety observer for confined space entry and hot works, Kent is able to engage with people from all working backgrounds.
Outside of FETS Kent is a volunteer with the fire service, a football referee and enjoys photography, skiing, trail riding and tramping
He brings a wealth of knowledge to the training room ensuring that all trainees gain the knowledge and skills required for them to feel they leave the training with more knowledge than when they arrived.
